Connect your account
Create an API key
Open API key management, select New API Key, and name it AI Agent. Keep the dialog open until you've saved the key in the next step; it is only shown once.
Save your connection details
Send this prompt in your desktop app:
Use MesoSim to check my setup
The agent will prepare .env.mesosim and show its location.
Open the file, enter your portal URL and API key, then save it:
MESOSIM_INSTANCE=https://mesosim.io MESOSIM_API_KEY=your-api-key
For Retail, use https://mesosim.io. For FundPro, use your portal's HTTPS address without /api or another path.
Keep your API key in the file on your computer. Never paste it into chat.
Check the connection
Close and reopen your desktop app to load the saved settings. Start a new conversation and send:
List my last 10 backtests in MesoSim
A backtest list, or confirmation that you have no backtests yet, means your account is connected. If the check fails, ask the agent to check your setup.
What will you explore?
Once connected, copy a prompt into either desktop app.
Run a MesoSim backtest: SPX Put Broken Wing Butterfly at 10 / 15 / 18 deltas at 60 DTE. Hold it for 30 days. Set Profit Target to $200, Stop Loss to $400.
